  1. Paperless is worth the investment. I converted my Calgary accounting practice to paperless back in 2004; I wrote a simple visual basic utility which assisted with the finding and retrieving of clients working papers.
    I sold the practice in 2009 and semi-retired with my wife in the Maritimes, Canada.
    My wife kept asking me why I do not sell copies of the utility I used in the practice.
    So in the last six month I went back to work and developed a more sophisticated utility which I have named "working paper navigator"
    I also developed a document management utility to go along with it while I was still in the working mood.
